Alexandria is a beautiful, nostalgic quilt, copied from an antique Australian quilt made from soldiers uniforms in the 1890s. Perfect for scraps or medallion-style colour layout!

Finished quilt size: 76" x 78"

What you get:

Acrylic Templates are used for cutting the fabric into the right shape, with the right seam allowance. They're clear, sea green in colour which makes them easy to find among your things, and easy to see through so that you can get the fabric design in just the right spot. My acrylic templates are 3mm thick and include a 3/8" seam allowance and fabric marking holes. The Alexandria Quilt set includes

  • 1 1/2" 6pt Diamond
  • 1 1/2" Hexagon
  • 3/4" Hexagon
  • 3/4" Jewel

We are Tim and Jodi Godfrey. Husband and wife. Techy and creative. Raging extrovert and cosy homebody. We love putting our heads and skills together to make Tales of Cloth. We live in Orange, Australia with our brood of kids, dogs and chickens.

Our driving goal is beauty and goodness. Beautiful quilts, beautiful products, beautifully packaged in a way that brings joy and cares for the earth. We use unbleached, recycled paper for our shapes and packaging, and all of our cellophane wrapping is plant based and compostable. Our shapes are laser cut in Australia by our good friends Cut Once Templates.
